  • This church is located on a hill which is actually a pyramid, one of the largest in the world. I didn't have the opportunity to enter the pyramid due to lack of time, but if we walked up to the Church. That Yes, the walk is long and steep.

  • This beautiful church sits atop the world's largest pyramid: one sacred site above another. Views from the exterior courtyards are stunning and well worth the long hike up the hill. Take your time on the way up: enjoy the vendors, pause to gaze out at the surrounding city, and people watch.
  • This place is so beautiful! You can see the city and even the Popocatepetl from the top. On your way there you can see the archeological site that was below the church and once you get to the building it's just breathtaking. Loved it!
  • Beautiful church and pyramid. An unbelievably steep climb so be prepared to have a major workout.
  • Amazing archaeological combo... a historic church atop an ancient pyramid.
