  • The people are super friendly, teach you how to perform their work the truth is that I was fascinated with my quilts but if left with a half sad feeling because I really believe giving super cheap village is cute and quaint

  • Fails considerably away from Oaxaca City by using the bus. I was in the ruins as their 5-6 round plump one day course. In terms of seeing little disappointing but I think it's characteristic of things worthy of ruins are considerably smaller in size, and decoration. Do a bit more research time tour is not going to personal expectations whatever, so good to decide. Hit far enough 9 hours if 3 hours if you only Mithra in the taxi I a strong sense of... wasted valuable time on the road.

  • According to the official schedule, the site closes at 5:00 pm; However let you enter from 4:30 is subject to what the Lord "Rutilio Martínez Quero" want. This man is not even identified as an employee of the INAH; and yet decided at what time the entrance, closes if it resells tickets or for a "wool" lets you enter. Do not fall into temptation... no place is worth the penalty vs damage which makes corruption to tourism, our nation and the bad image that leaves our country.

  • The unusual Zapotec designs on the buildings make this site worth visiting. If you are into Zentangling this might give you some new material. The site is not huge, there are some beautiful flowering trees and cactus gardens at the entrance as well as a photographic Spanish church. We hired a driver for $10 US/ hour to take us here.
  • This is a very unique and beautiful place. It is a great example of Zapotec culture and architecture. This site has been continually inhabited for 2000 years. It would have been interesting to see it in its prime with the brightly painted stucco. Definitely worth the visit. Take a guided tour of you can.
  • Mitla is interesting. I wouldn't say it is my favourite of the Mayan ruins in Mexico but the patterns in the stonework was the most elaborate that I've seen besides the carvings in Copan Honduras. A nice stop before Hierve el agua. 70 pesos entry
  • The ruins are nice but the place seems a little forgotten and not very well taken care of.
  • Impressive archeological area, with available certified tourist guides for about $200 pesos for a group of 4. They know everything you need to know about the place. Highly recommended. Impressive views too. A full tour takes probably 1 hour plus transportation. Wear comfortable shoes.
