  • My respect for the Sistine Chapel but this Mexican Sistine, albeit in another style, has nothing to admire him. The admirable mural of Atotonilco is more ambitious than the chapel of Rome. Exposed to the eyes of the faithful simple and lawyers alike with stories of salvation and the doctrine of the Church. It is also called the Bible of the poor. Its precious carvings in the main nave and vaults of Calvary have no comparison with any place that has visited in the world and is made by hands of painters Creoles. It would need entire pages to express the impression that this work has left in me, is a site that you can not help but admire.

  • The place since you enter have a touch of antiquity! I loved the walls have paintings that look very old and beautiful. As if return time. It has a chapel, bathed in gold. And paintings based on the Spanish conquest are super interesting.
