Looking more like something out of a fairy tale than from real life, Parroquia de San Miguel Arcangel is the main landmark of San Miguel de Allende. The building, constructed in 1683, is colored matt pink, with numerous spires reaching for the sky. The spires, which were designed in the 19th century, are the only architectural feature of the church that’s not from the 17th century. According to legend, the design come about from a Belgian church that the architect saw on a post card. He showed his builders how to construct the church by drawing plans in the sand. • A must see while in San Miguel. The Parroquia is THE most visible spot in the Jardin seen from all over town. It's probably the most photographed as well.
  • If you take the tram there, explain very well, everything related to the Church and at night you must go it see lit, it looks spectacular.

  • A church that mixes an eclectic home that resembles the late Gothic recessed in front of a church's classic character worthy of visit during your stay in San Miguel de Allende.

  • Pequeña pero muy hermosa
  • An exquisite pastel dream of a gothic cathedral
  • Is impossible to visit SM and not visit here. I think it's slightly more beautiful on outside than inside but allows for great photos and is always lively, people congregate here, parades start here, fireworks start here. Always something happening.
  • Grandmother lived there. My family & I would go down there for months @ a time in the late 70's to mid 80's.
  • Impresionante monumento histórico. Tienes que visitarlo!
