  • Nice museum that gives a brief history of one of the heroes of independence of Mexico. This was the home of Ignacio Allende one the initial leaders of the movement of independence for Mexico. The museum is neatly organized in terms of a layout except its missing a comprehensive organization of information. If you are not well knowledge in Mexican history you'll find slightly hard to understand the significance of this place. I still encourage any one to come here just do a little research online of Ignacio Allende and you'll have a higher appreciation of this museum/home.
  • San Miguel has a dearth of museums; this two-story charmer offers plenty of information as well as a look at a well-preserved historic house (it once belonged to San Miguel native son and war hero Ignacio Allende). Facing the main plaza and San Miguel's iconic parish church.
  • It´s an ok museum. It helps learning a little about the story of the city, which is one of the 3 that were of significance to the independence of Mexico.
  • An excellent and comprehensive review of the Independence movement as well as well restored view of what a late 18th century hacienda would have looked like.
