  • A wonderful Botanical Garden to visit in San Miguel de Allende, a couple of hours before noon, then make enough heat. The native vegetation of cacti, is spectacular, areas of the dam and the rocks are very nice. The truth, there are very interesting and magical areas to connect with nature. Highly recommended.

  • The garden is a wonderful collection and variety of plants wonderfully arranged along meandering paths with benches sporadically available to sit and appreciate the views. On our visit we participated...  more »

  • This place is so beautiful during the rainy season (June - September). There is so much serenity walking through the pathways near the gorge. The only thing that is missing is the adequate signage to alert the visitor of hazards throughout the walkways and a proper food stall which ironically did not sell the basic bottled water but instead caned fruit juice. But is definitely worth a visit while in SMA.
  • Super nice cactus garden. Very large With lots of walking paths. Nice little snack stand and gift shop.
  • Wonderful, peaceful place that I think is a must see when visiting SMA. It sits high on the East side of town, with all different kinds of flora and fauna native to the region. You can spend hours enjoying nature, hiking around in the canyon or just sitting by the water, all for just $40mxn. They provide various events including a temascal and full moon ceremonies monthly that are worth the while (check calendar on website). Allow from 1-3 hours here, and a little time in the gift shop on the way out. Bring your own bottled water - they only sell mineral.
  • Very nice environment, it's beautiful to see. Please remember that the sun is scolding hot, so bring a hat and sunscreen. I would love to see this place in the rainy season, to see the waterfall
  • Good for a stroll and a snack.. cheap entry. Lots of shady nooks for quiet contemplation and appreciation.
