  • This museum is located in the historic centre of the city, in the plaza del Carmen, so it is very easy to visit. It has a good collection of masks regional, national and international. While it is not the most impressive of its kind or large Museum, worth visiting it. The building in which it is hosted is worth visiting it also by its colonial architecture.

  • When I entered the Museum did not expect to find a variety of masks. There are masks of various parts of Mexico, used in the most varied situations/rituals/celebrations. There are also shades, say, "modern", as one who looks like a robot. Is a recommended tour in the city, and is the historic centre; very well located. And in the end, there is also a souvenir shop of the Museum.

  • This is one of the best museums in town, it's a must, this place architecture is simply beautiful, there are around 1000 masks from different regions and ages in Mexico
  • Good museum, I would say it's different because there are masks to see, which is a little odd.
  • An absolutely amazing place. Please stop by and spend an hour here. I promise it will be worth it. They have a very large collection of beautiful masks and rotate other exhibitions. When I was there they had a painting expo of José de Jesús Hernández Martínez called "Recuerdos de un sueño inquietante". Beautiful. Also, it is super cheap (just $20 Mexican) and they also sell masks for just about 600 Mexican pesos.
  • Wonderful collection
  • Excellent all the masks they have there, variety, and teach you the dances typical of various States and municipalities, recommended if you're going to san luis Potosí.
