  • It is a good place to go walking, take the dogs to walk or exercise... Beautiful views, trees and meadows green... If you decide to climb to the top of dam, view that you will reward the effort!

  • Very interesting place to analyze the engineering of his time. When the dam has enough water it enhances its beauty, when they desahogan it by strong rainy seasons is impressive. At the entrance there is a chain of medium informal food stalls in the region where you can have breakfast. Practiced rappelling in the shade. Can be dangerous for children and adults older by an of the stairs.

  • The dam is located quite close to the city and can be reached by public transport, by bicycle or car. At the base there are dozens of small stalls selling typical food, and people usually gather in the morning to do the typical breakfast. All around there are rocky hills with semi desert vegetation. You can walk on the dam and admire the Lake created by the blockade of the river ... When it rains, some side channels of the dam are full, and you can walk on a route that passes between waterfalls and "pools". There is also a small road that leads from here to get to the Iglesia del Desierto.
