Admire Pyramid of the Sun, the largest structure within the World Heritage-listed Teotihuacan. Standing at 65 m (216 ft) tall and 230 m (760 ft) wide, the imposing pyramid dominates the ruins of the ancient Aztec city. Built in the 2nd century CE, this is one of the biggest pyramids in the world. Bring suitable footwear and plenty of water to brave the multitude of steps leading to the top of the structure, where you'll be rewarded with a stunning panoramic view of the ancient city. • A TREASURE! Wonderful historical site. It takes about 10 minutes to climb up to the top for a stunning view. Very well kept, unfortunately the museum was closed. I just wish the weren't any ambulant vendors around...
  • What's cooler than an ancient giant pyramid? An ancient giant pyramid you can climb up! Its amazing to think about the amount of work that must have gone into building a structure this big without the modern technology we have today. You also get a great view of the complex and the surrounding area. A must see if you are in Mexico City.
  • 30 minutes away from the Centro Historico of Mexico City, the Pyramid of the Sun and the whole Teotihuacan park is a must-see. In addition to the Pyramid of the Moon and the Beatriz de la Fuente museum, there are a cluster of smaller pyramids and ruins that will provide easily a good four hours of exploring. Best of all, the entrance fee is only 30 pesos to visit all of the sites!
  • You will feel the presence of the ancient civilization that existed there and wonder about the motivation for building such structures. Fascinating!
  • Mesmerising. You can actually climb all the way up to the top. Make sure you have a guide, it's worth it.
