  • The Museum of death (or Pantheon de la Santa Veracruz) is an old cemetery with very ancient tombs and a spectacular view of San Juan. There is a small museum that explains the culture of death in Mexico since pre-Hispanic times. This cemetery is not anything, as the tombstones of the Fund are of the most ancient and although there are several tombs the most interesting are the niches that are within a small and mysterious Chapel (which I think already not let) can walk among the graves calmly read the epitaphs and ask if the deceased will still there inside. The best season to visit is in October-November as everything is filled with flowers of colors and candles that give a gloomy yet beautiful look. On the day of the dead everything is illuminated with candles, make some events, also is visited as part of the Legends Tour.

  • You can spend a nice time with your family, knowing new things with respect to customs before. In addition to enjoying the view of the municipality. It has no cost of entry.

  • Cute Museum in San Juan de el Río! The attention of the staff and the housekeeping I liked very much. Visit San Juan de el Río and don't forget to eat a taquito of escamoles on the portals of the main square. It is delicious to eat in all Mexico. Museum of death thank you for this great experience

  • Small museum. The entrance is free. There is space for parking the truck outside of the place. It has bathrooms. And the exibihicion is simple. I think that the space and the place gives for a more comprehensive display. I love this place is the view that has the city.
