  • I love to come to this place, why are all the flavours, colours and traditions of Chiapas, here the culture of all of its nearby villages is mixed and seems a market of barter, from vegetables, cheese, chicken, meats, seeds, species and seasonings, crafts, herbs, natural medicines, etc.

  • Beautiful to get lost in the streets of san cristobal you enjoy many of their whole culture and there arrived at the market where you can see as well as its culture the entire amount of crafts, food, fruits, vegetables and sweets, had very good.

  • Visit the markets is, in my opinion, the best way to get to know the culture of a place. In San Cristobal, in addition, Mayan languages are an added value. Meats, exotic fruits, grasshoppers ready for consumption, flowers, crafts, small technological objects, food stalls and chicken... One can spend hours there. Watch out for the photos. Before portraying people, ask for authorization. For religious reasons, the photo may be a taboo.
