  • Very interesting Museum and although it is not very well ordered or illuminated, seemed exciting. Does not seem fair or reasonable to permit selling much more expensive craft that in the same villages in the Lacandon Jungle.

  • NaBolom is one of the first museums of San Cristóbal, originally was the home of Frans and Gertrudis Dubby Blom, who dedicated themselves to do anthropological, archaeological and social work mainly with the Lacandons. The museum displays archaeological sites in the Lacandon Jungle and surrounding site bailouts to San Cristobal. It also shows the life and work of the Bloms. The hotel has themed rooms which are allusive to the communities. The library is beautiful as well as gardens. Lack care and best service to care for details, however, the magic of the place of living from entry.

  • This is a place you have to visit while in San Cris. You'll fina a lot of interesting information about the history of this town and the Selva Lacandona. It could benefit of a better maintenance and a guided tour. Be sure to bring cash to buy some handcrafts from the locals selling there.
