  • We ride to the fort of San Blas, dating from the 18th century. We had little information about the place before the visit. We learned after the fact only, that it was the Contaduría. Built near the sea to defend the city, today the sea is visible in the distance, and the town of San Blas was built there where the sea. The sea moved to Cape Town where fort, during an earthquake and sea water was evacuated naturally, creating dry land where the city was built. All this, according to our tour guide. The buildings and objects on the site are more or less interesting, because the explanations, found us a little vague. There we have a beautiful panoramic view of San Blas.
