  • Only 20 minutes from Oaxaca on the free road to the city of Mexico is here, little-known but very nice. This is a place that was a textile factory which was restored and converted into a cultural centre. We were lucky to find an exhibition of engravings that were from the private collection of the great Oaxacan painter Toledo. There are works of Goya, Dürer, Chagall, Max Ernst, Rivera, Orozco and up to Picasso and Dali among many others. The architecture of the place by itself very much worthwhile. A must-see place if visits to the city of Oaxaca.

  • Better plan ahead, and look at the site the calendar of activities. For a group, you can ask for a guide. Here, apart from the incredibly beautiful kind and beautiful industrial architecture, you will find luxurious temporary exhibitions, graphic workshop, photography, Dancing Hall, etc. It may also be artrezidenciej, if you write them a letter, and you can join them on the master classes.

  • The place is wonderful, a place exhibiting creations with the help and guidance of the residents of the place. The paper Workshop offers an approach for the way paper base of cotton with the combination of textures that make it unique. Recommended so that children know the bases of the elaboration of the paper and workshop has courses of this type.

  • A beautiful space with lovely views. There was an excellent textile exhibition on at the lower area and we watched a very good concert upstairs. There is also a small organic market on Sunday mornings just beyond the art center. Note that getting taxis back on a Sunday can be difficult. Take one the to the crucero if available then pick up another one back to Oaxaca.
  • not as much art as I expected. the building itself is worth visiting. great views from the top of the building.
  • Getting to this area may be hard, but the architecture, plant life and views are so breathtaking and unfamiliar, they make you feel like you are in a surrealist film.
  • worth visiting
  • Former manufactures yarn became a gallery - school - arts workshop, is very nice, but there isn't much room for parking if going by private vehicle
