  • The Centro de Artes de San Agustin is in a large, converted textile factory in the countryside. It looks as though it was probably built a little after the turn of the last century. It was located whe...  more »
  • The Center does not have much for children but that same is a paper workshop, make paper recycling very entertaining for children, teach you materials and you do

  • It is one of the jewels hidden near Oaxaca. Museum of first world in the foothills of the Oaxacan mountains. The Museum flows with the downspout from the place and has several mirrors of water that returns to the River below. Stunning Viastas of the Valley and an exceptional architecture. The photo exhibition of Graciela Iturbide, very good. Without a doubt, it is worth visiting it.

  • A fabulous day trip from Oaxaca. Francisco Toledo's personal art collection is exhibited in this historic building. The grounds are spectacular to walk around as are the unique terracotta steps. By donation and don't miss the paper factory
  • Really beautiful and interesting place. The exhibitions and nice building totally worth the way there. Fresh and quiet atmosphere inspiring to relax.
  • A beautiful space with lovely views. There was an excellent textile exhibition on at the lower area and we watched a very good concert upstairs. There is also a small organic market on Sunday mornings just beyond the art center. Note that getting taxis back on a Sunday can be difficult. Take one the to the crucero if available then pick up another one back to Oaxaca.
  • not as much art as I expected. the building itself is worth visiting. great views from the top of the building.
  • Getting to this area may be hard, but the architecture, plant life and views are so breathtaking and unfamiliar, they make you feel like you are in a surrealist film.
