Xel-Ha, Riviera Maya

4.1
#2 of 551 in Tours in Riviera Maya
A popular day-trip idea from Cancun, Xel-Ha combines water-based entertainment with tours of a historically significant archaeological site. This aquatic theme park, which calls itself a "natural aquarium," contains a section of a Maya settlement probably occupied until the 19th century. Named after the ancient town, the park offers a range of family-oriented activities. Swim with colorful fish, take long strolls through the jungle, ride bikes across the lush landscape once inhabited by the mighty Maya, or enjoy a leisurely river tour. Check the website for additional activities and take advantage of discounts by reserving your tickets in advance. • In my passage through playa del carmen, chose the xel-ha between the parks of Group X. The Park is 100% natural (according to them), with a pretty incredible water, a blue and green beautiful! several places for pictures, amazing! There area to snorkel, several fishes, turtles and stingrays. Have a toboagua that I could not go because of the bad weather, the calculated a panoramic view of the Park. Cenotes, zip lining, snorkeling ... rest in hammocks and chairs--other attractions. The Park offers 2 restaurants with food all day practically. has a few bars too. Food and drink released included in the ticket, it's a little salty, but worth it. It's a full day's attractions, food and drink. It also has birds in the park that you offer to do photos-paid. free parking on site. has a very nice model of tulum at the entrance of the Park.

Similar to the taste similar to a restaurant in the middle of the bar in the shelves, but ... it's funny. The first train ride and a ride home on the tube line riding a water slide ride snorkeling examination. Food, beverage, liquor, all free and equipment rentals are included. The dining room is a similar taste. The Sun too hot to die. Water slides that enjoyed well blah slow going of course, there is a fast moving from the tower at the end of the vertical descent similar to gently come down to losing. Lots of cells in the spot taking pictures does take some shots at the end of the staff, or payment at once. I don't buy a waterproof camera, take your shots well. Calming expensive tubes are too slow heaviness. Water flows and not like a ton of hand bass. Mule 1 long beep followed by a bit less than 2 person tube. Home line is no jam. Snorkeling is the big fish in the middle of the King at the entrance to almost none. Once experienced, is also good. When you go to the cells natural sunscreen, waterproof camera, water shoes, Lash guard, shampoo, body wash Ling gild to manly

  • My family and I love the Xel-Ha! The atmosphere is very nice with lots of green and several animals such as parrots and iguanas in the Park. At some points can be taken pictures with these animals with additional cost for those who wish. The booze is free including alcoholic beverages. The restaurants are large and for all tastes. Diving snorkeling in the Cove is a must and much better than in Xcaret. Did the Seatrek in this park and love it!
