  • The main entrance to Real-de-Catorze may be even more exciting if you can drive through it on cabri, on foot board of your Jeep (soneone driving carefully) or just windows wide open! It is also a grea...  more »
  • This tunnel is required to be able to access the ghost town. They charge you $30 pesos per vehicle, and the ejidatarios give you the pass, since only he can circulate in a sense. Therefore, you have to pay, make row and wait for it to get directions to cross. It is beautiful to see what the ancient people made with their hands. As it is not paved rises much dust, so I do not recommend that you go walking through the tunnel because it is extensive. For those who do not carry truck there are trucks that charge you to cross the tunnel.

  • A very interesting journey to enter the village of Real de 14, the most convenient way is through of the tune Ogarrio, which is used by the narrow in an only sense at the same time, for they are organized groups of vehicles at each mouth of the tunnel and through radio communication guards they agree. There is a small fee for the wages of the guardis, team and to keep lit tunnel and in good condition. The collection is worth. Locals run very fast, accelerated the vehicle that was in front of me from the beginning and I could never reach it, I lost her sight in a curve and when I got to the line, or their lights. The crossing takes few minutes, maybe 5 or 6, but in the dimness seems eternal. They tell me that when it is week week or the feast of the patron of the town there are many pilgrims, that are blocking vehicular and pedestrian, are allowed only good measure to avoid accidents.

  • The tunnel that leads to the magical Town Real de Catorce, pass through it is fun for the comments that are heard of who goes on the trucks that transported through it, who go on foot or in their private cars, you could feel a little bit of stress, combined with adrenaline and emotion to one or other side of the same.
