Leyendas y Mitos de Queretaro, Queretaro City

Learn about the city through Leyendas y Mitos de Queretaro, a tour among the streets filled with drama, narration, and elaborate costumes. This nighttime tour leads you around mysterious alleys and old houses of the city center by flame torches. Numerous different characters, representing mythical and legendary individuals from the 16th to the 19th centuries, guide you. The characters perform the ancient stories while dressed in intricately decorated costumes, accompanied by the sounds of violins and guitars. • It is a journey that is carried out by the Centre of the city, walking, and people who guide you are disguised and telling you the stories and anecdotes from the city of Queretaro, unfortunately sometimes those who are guiding you and disguised are distracted with his cell phone and rep entity they tell stories and legends that are an invention, many of these guides are not taken the trouble to read several books of history and traditions Queretaro, are based to prepare them and cannot answer a question, lack them language flowed from a prepared study guide and cult, they do more show and we invent things that did not happen, these guides should be very well prepared and certified for these tours,

  • The Trek of the legends is moderately good, this father of the concept but does not meet the expectations, tell you that the transfer is in a tram but not tell you that lasts only 5 minutes or less, legends are told with a sense of the comic when they should be dark. They include a lot of people on the promenade, so much that his voice does not reach so everyone listen without problem. I have to say that my friends from Queretaro I comment to ride that this father is of la Llorona, that if scary.

Where to stay in Queretaro City

Vacations in Queretaro tend to focus almost exclusively on the historic center, with the city's industrialized fringes offering little of interest to tourists. The vast majority of accommodations remain in the city's heart, with the dual-direction Carre Benito Juarez and surrounding streets offering a selection of budget-friendly and boutique hotels. If you're just looking for a place to rest your head before moving on to your next destination, look south to the neighborhood of Las Misiones, or west to La Capilla, where you can find some comfortable roadside hotels.
