  • Fantastic service and great art, excellent prices. It is a cooperative owned by 42 indigenous families who sell their handmade art direct. They set their own prices. The service is amazing, genuine caring staff who love the art. Support this co-op,what a great business. Recommend!
  • Fiancé and I stopped in their shop and were amazed by the selection and quality of work there. We planned on coming back to purchase a Novios pair that we loved but never got the chance. So when I got back to the states I emailed the store and Neft promptly replied and helped me find the exact catrinas we desired. He sent me pics and answered my questions and helped me select a huichol figure as well for my mom. The figurines are on their way to me as we speak due to his time and effort. Thanks so much again for your assistance Neft! P.S. Important tip, buy in the store! Shipping from Mexico to the US is very expensive!!!
  • My husband and I purchased a very beautiful, hand beaded, mask here. The sales rep was very knowledgeable and friendly. We didn't feel any pressure to purchase.
  • Nice place. Lots of beaded things, and glass art made on site.
  • Nifty stuff to buy on your vacation, mostly made by local artists, free trade.

Where to stay in Puerto Vallarta

The appropriately named Hotel Zone, at the coastal fringe of the city center, serves as one of the most popular areas to stay, with equally good access to the beach and the amenities within the city. Private rentals are particularly popular, with the Hotel Zone and the equally vibrant hub of Emiliano Zapata to the south offering plenty of condominiums to complement the range of budget, mid-range, and luxury hotels. Many of the city's best gay-friendly accommodations are found at the southern fringe of the old town.
