Take a water taxi to Playa Las Animas, a secluded beach near the town of Boca de Tomatlan. A favorite day tour destination, the beach can get crowded on weekends and holidays, but the soft white sand, calm blue water, and picturesque views more than make up for the crowds. Swim and snorkel among colorful tropical fish, sunbathe, or relax with a refreshing drink and enjoy the scenery. You can rent jetskis and banana boats, try parasailing, or sample the area's delicious fresh seafood. Put Playa Las Animas on your schedule, and learn what else deserves a visit by using our Puerto Vallarta travel itinerary planner.

  • Very good beach calm sea sand thick you have where to eat or have a drink or if you want to walk or take one of the services offered on the beach such as Jet-skiing or fly by parachute at a cost that is not as expensive or otherwise you can relax in the sun umbrellas.

  • Read another post recommending walking to the right ( south) to the end of the beach to Poncho's ( there is no sign), he was right! Family run, very friendly, chill vibe, great playlist, low key sweet...  more »
  • The beach itself is nice, the best of puerto Vallarta but the truth is the water taxi (panga) which are necessary to get there since there is no access by land, are nightmare, often are overloaded, move as the demon and the type that leads almost always goes too fast, ahh and do not have even an inflatable vest aboard , if yours are not aquatic experiences evitalo or you get very scared... better take a tour fit in larger boats, catamaran at least.
