  • Two days of diving with Luz Maria and Francisco, first at sea (wreck and Jardines) and then in cenote (KinHa and Maravillas). Luz Maria is very welcoming and professional, she is a biologist by training and has been a coach for years, so diving with confidence. It adapted to my desires and programmed a la carte outings, just for me, which perfectly corresponded to what I wanted to see and know, in excellent conditions (boat, mini bus, fruit, water, delicious sandwich). I do photography, and she organized the dives on very varied sites, showing me the most beautiful places (fossils in the cenotes in particular), and leaving me all the time to take my pictures quietly! A huge thank you, i hope to see you soon, Elisabeth

  • Luz Maria and her team are incredible. She is so knowledgeable about the area and the ecology of the region. And she does a wonderful job of explaining it all and making it interesting for both kids a...  more »
  • An amazing experience!, LuzMa as always super punctual, the way from Puerto Morelos to Cozumel very entertaining, and the diving of super luxury!, I highly recommend it especially if you love nature and you let yourself be surprised by the colors of the reefs, sponges and fish. Diving in Cozumel is unparalleled, and going with someone with so much experience adds tranquility and confidence to the experience.

  • Excellent tour. Excellent people. Excellent experience.
  • Amazing people, wonderful guides, highly recommend their whale Shark tour!
  • We booked the whale shark watching with this guides, so it's just about this kind of trip. I could highly recommend everybody to do the tour by "Xtabay". Very friendly people, who explain you all about the whale sharks and, what's the most important thing to me, are very responsible. They mind you to obey the rules and also support organizations, which help the whale sharks. You always have the feeling that the nature is also important to them and they want to share the beautify of these animals with you. When you are at the whale shark spot, they do everything for you, to get your best personal experience. So you never have the feeling, that you are just one out of thousands of tourist. While this trip you get local food and drinks, so you get all to comfort you. I would everybody highly recommend booking tours via Xtabay!
  • We hire diving Xtabay services my spouse, my 10 year old daughter, my child of 12 and I by a super recommendation of a diver known mine belonging to peaks (trainers professional divers), told us that this company is super professional and that he would give us a super servi CIO as fellow divers. Nothing farthest from a good service was that we received. This company is directed by Luz María González and her husband Pancho, who is also the captain of the boat that we were moved to the place of diving. I will begin by Pancho who ported only cuts and helpful when we were already going back to the port, it was annoying to live their little patience from the moment they start crossing, it was intense during the Assembly of equipment and stay in surface. His intolerance came to the degree that it went to the Assembly of the equipment of my spouse and my daughter. He made a stupid comment that there was a shark chasing a fish candle near the boat just before the dive! That only served to increase the nervousness of everyone in the boat, regrettable was also that he has not acted with professionalism and care when fell sea my daughter 10 years on the side of the boat in which there was no one who received it This increased more fear and mistrust. With regard to Luz María lousy tried to my spouse for its little expertise in the Assembly of his team and little tolerance he showed even knowing that he had a wound on his wrist, that was one of the reasons that already did the second dive. My family and I present children's and basic certifications of "Summits" to be able to dive and the comments in bad taste, criticizing the guidelines and techniques used by summits that did were not professional, if so at odds that they trawl under 15 years, would have been able to express it from a home and not after receipt of advance payment for their services. In both dives, it was very neglected us, it passed before taking pictures (but not us) and only guided route, without looking for marine life that show or take photos or thousands of things that could have been done different. The worst part was for my daughter, the little tolerance Luz María showed under the water to my little was inconceivable, my daughter asked for only help to adjust the viewfinder, but failed to drain it, and Luz María only sent it to the surface to remove the problem of e sink and my daughter was in the boat in tears and frustration by having not been able to dive in the Caribbean since he had been so expected for months to make it. At the end of the dive, Luz María had the gall to complain of my son saying that during all your dive is placed very close to her and that she did not feel comfortable. This situation if it happened but it came in the wake of the commentary of the captain on the shark that was close. With me only it was the ballast, I indicate a weight which I usually use for diving and Luz Maria and the captain laughed and gave me the weight that they believed I should use. All provoked was that it cost me much work level and that finished me faster my air on my first dive. Friends do not allow that companies like these we continue trying to so, only because they are used to cater to foreigners or to expert divers who believe that it is not necessary to provide quality services that they serve alone.
