  • Lovely market with food, clothes and restaurants. Missing, however, more capable with knick-knacks and stuff, electronics, gadgets, etc. Good for buying food and clothing, however, and soaking up the atmosphere:)

  • Is a market popular located in the area urban of Puerto Escondido. Is well sectioned: Area restaurants; selling crafts and clothing; butchers, fruit, vegetables, florist etc. My recommendation is acquiring products oaxacans like coffee, chocolate, chapulines, Mezcal etc. In terms of prices not found marked differences with the "street of cobble" on souvenirs, clothes and food. Enjoy this market resembles the regional populations. LIFE... it's a trip!

  • Fun market to go to, we got a nice fresh orange juice for just 30 pesos a liter. Food can be unpleasant tough, but that comes with mexican culture I guess. I suggest you buy fruits and veggies outside of the market, they tend to be cheaper and of better quality. despite the fact that we're close to the sea, fishes remain pretty expensive and might not be that fresh after all.
  • Awesome mix of everything local; great & super affordable food & produce.
  • Love this market. Fresh, well priced and friendly.
  • Great market, heaps of variety and wonderful fresh produce.
  • Mercado Benito Juárez from its origin to today has established itself in infrastructure and service. It is a place in which supply quality, freshness in their products, variety, cleaning, attention to the customer and human warmth combined to meet your needs with excellent service. Visit and purchase products of quality and freshness made in Oaxaca.
