Xpu-ha Beach, Puerto Aventuras

(4.4/5 based on 600+ reviews on the web)
Spend some time by the sea at Xpu-ha Beach, a local hangout that remains relatively unknown to many international visitors. The turquoise waters and white sand form a picture-perfect image of the Caribbean coastline, as locals pushing boats onto shore and cooking on open fires complement the scene. Treat yourself to a fresh fish taco and a cold drink after all that sunbathing and lazing around in the ocean. Bring your camera to capture the attractive simplicity of this little-known place.
