  • The famous Puebla ceramics can be found at good price. As always there is a bit of everything, beautiful and ugly...

  • One of my favorite rides on days that I don't have anything planned is the Parian market. Even if you don't buy anything, I always find something new, something unseen, a curious thing.

  • Specialties of handicrafts market offers a variety of local products in particular objects of Talavera of various shapes, sizes and colors. The passage is interesting to walk during the day, and devote time to browse. You can take a break, clean you the footwear and hold talks with some people or the same bolero. It is enjoyable and for all budgets.

  • Better than any of the artisan markets that I've seen previously - great range of nice trinkets and great prices, all without the spruikers you'd normally expect.
  • The best place to buy crafts from Puebla like the iconic 'talavera'. There is a big variety of styles and prices. Some shops accept major credit cards.
  • Fun to walk around but a lot of what they sell is all the same in each booth!
  • Parian Market is a historical place to see and its a good spot to take some beautiful pictures but if you plan to buy crafts from here, you better know that price are 3 or 4x higher in compare to Mexico City's Craft Markets
  • Amazing. All sort of candy. It's lije being in Candy Land.

Puebla's immaculately preserved historical center contains the majority of accommodations in the city, with visitors understandably wanting to stay as close as possible to the many architectural highlights on display. Head to Avenida Reforma for a great selection of boutique hotels housed in historical buildings, with plenty of budget guesthouses and hostels nestled in the surrounding streets. The neighborhood of Amor, slightly northwest of the center, offers a taste of modern Puebla with a range of business hotels.
