Learn the history of the nation at Amparo Museum (Museo Amparo), a cultural institution with a vast collection of artifacts and artworks. Located across two colonial-era buildings in the town's historic center, the museum traces the country's development through displays dating from 2500 BCE to the modern era. Admire sculptures, altars, and figures, handmade by artisans from each of the country's pre-Columbian civilizations, including Aztecs, Mayans, Totonacs, and Teotihuacans. The museum displays many of its colonial-era pieces in situ, across the rooms of the period houses. Don't miss the formidable Mexican modern art collection. • They have good archaeological pieces but few, showed well, unfriendly receptionists and not podės enter water and treat you as offender and force you to leave the backpack that is your portfolio, but their portfolios if they let in as a tourist. The value of the entry does not justify so very poor display.

  • I love how the exhibit rooms are connected one to the other due to the construction of the house. Their permanent exhibits are really good and they offer a lot of activities on they museum nights.
  • The best part of this museum is its architecture. The exhibitions are fine. The rooftop offers great views and a relaxing place for an evening cocktail/beer.
  • Only was able to visit the pre-hispanic section but it was very inspiring and beautiful. Will look forward to spending more time here in the future!
  • On the top floor of this museum there is a cafeteria with an incredible view of the historic center of Puebla. You can take good panoramic photographs.
  • This museum hold amazing art pieces from the world. Located in Puebla, this is a "you must have to go" place!
