Cenote Chikin Ha, Playa del Carmen

Categories: Wildlife Areas, Nature & Parks
Inspirock Rating:
4.6/5 based on 750+ reviews on the web
A popular diving spot, Cenote Chikin Ha is part of a cenote system discovered in 1997. Swim and snorkel in the open-air cavern with clear water that allows you to see fish, coral formations, turtles, and stingrays. While scuba diving in the cenote you can explore the adjoining caverns as the sunlight rays illuminate the turquoise waters. Zipline into the freshwater basin, witness a traditional Mayan ceremony, or have a picnic in the scenic jungle setting. • Spectacular cenotes. The cost is $300.00 pesos per person and three cenotes are which you can visit at the Park. The best places to visit close to playa del carmen.

  • Chickin has is a very good choice as a visit to the cenotes have 3 very different cenotes in this park. The first is open as a lagoon, the second is a cave semi open... my favorite, very nice and the third is a cenote semi dry. In this park you can spend the day by snorkeling or scuba diving also and or zip lines. Excellent choice!
