  • It exceeded my expectations are precious! The guide that we played made of the experience something wonderful. She told us stories about aluxes (goblins) and we put an exercise which made me put goosebumps and they torn eyes, could tell which changed my way of thinking these beautiful caves for good. One feels very positive vibe! Please do not touch the tip of the stalactites, since playing it stops growth for 200 years. Enjoy the view and touch around but never tip, where you can see the water drop, respect these beautiful grottoes. They are huge and fresh on the inside! There are two windows of light that are amazing, among other things. I was in love, it recommend completely, if make the route puuc begin in them caves, continue with Labná and so on to get to Uxmal to close with brooch of gold. Arrive early because the journey takes nearly 2 hours and will be day flying.

  • Go prepare your flashlights to better observe the cave. The entry is not given and that breaks the atmosphere c is the fact that they tell you that you have need a guide after paying of course the guide trying to sweeten. Negotiate the price. The tour is worth it and the photos give very well the gigantic notion of the place. You will realize by you even

  • Loved this place! Off the beaten track. Kids find it fascinating. Can be a bit slippery and not always an easy go but the guide was fantastic and helpful. Would not have missed it.
  • Worth every peso! This is a very cool experience. Entrance is like 7 dollars and the guide was a volunteer donation. Overall like 12 dollars. They walk you through this cool cave meters down and show you around. About 2 km walk and a somewhat steep walk out. Tve cave contains very interesting things that the Mayans did.
  • The biggest problem with this place is that buying a ticket does NOT entitle you to admission into the cave. Only after you pay for parking and the substantial cost of the tickets do they tell you that you cannot enter the cave without a tour guide and you must negotiate the guide's price before entry. The mandatory tour guide's price is not just a small, optional tip like the tour books say, but a large and mandatory amount close to what you just paid for admission. Plan on spending around 500 pesos for two adults.
  • I went here with my 1.5 year old son and his family. It was very nice and beautiful. I didn't speak Spanish and there wasn't an English tour at that time, so I missed out on much of the details, but later read about it on my own online and in books. Despite that, I really enjoyed walking through the caves and want to go again! Especially since my son is getting older and he will also enjoy it more now.
  • Bery cool underground cave full of stalagmites and stalactites. Artwork and paintings on the cave walls which date back to the stone age!!
