  • It is an extraordinary experience that is worth visiting. The place offers the entrance with guided visit which have schedules to go, because they do not allow people to pass if not accompanied. It is recommended to go with tennis because there are places inside the cave which can be slippery for beef. We went at 2 pm and I think that before he had guided tour at 11 am, but better to call to check that before and not be waiting to start the Guide.

  • As stated by others, the guides know their caves and are good at answering questions (in english). There were 3 couples in our group all overy 60 is in good physical condition. In my opinion the ascen...  more »
  • Beautiful, majestic, good guides, is only necessary to inform that it is not suitable for all people, young children, babies, older adults and people with a problem to move to 100% will not enjoy if not to suffer this ride.

  • Loved this place! Off the beaten track. Kids find it fascinating. Can be a bit slippery and not always an easy go but the guide was fantastic and helpful. Would not have missed it.
  • Worth every peso! This is a very cool experience. Entrance is like 7 dollars and the guide was a volunteer donation. Overall like 12 dollars. They walk you through this cool cave meters down and show you around. About 2 km walk and a somewhat steep walk out. Tve cave contains very interesting things that the Mayans did.
  • This place is amazing. The views inside the final cave are like something out of tomb raider.
  • The biggest problem with this place is that buying a ticket does NOT entitle you to admission into the cave. Only after you pay for parking and the substantial cost of the tickets do they tell you that you cannot enter the cave without a tour guide and you must negotiate the guide's price before entry. The mandatory tour guide's price is not just a small, optional tip like the tour books say, but a large and mandatory amount close to what you just paid for admission. Plan on spending around 500 pesos for two adults.
  • I went here with my 1.5 year old son and his family. It was very nice and beautiful. I didn't speak Spanish and there wasn't an English tour at that time, so I missed out on much of the details, but later read about it on my own online and in books. Despite that, I really enjoyed walking through the caves and want to go again! Especially since my son is getting older and he will also enjoy it more now.
