  • As you visit this small town because we were told that it was where he was born the alebrijes, truth is a far away village, with a road with thousand stops, when you only get there are houses and they are guiding you some arrows until you reach a house where they are the alebrijes, very nice the truth but nothing that you can not find in the city of Oaxaca There is a beautiful mural that worth watching, but otherwise not worth making this trip, unless you want to buy a high-quality direct hands of craftsmen alebrije. This kind of art is not cheap, is indeed much work invested.

  • These famous Alebrijes are located throughout the Republic, however originate from here, and nice visit this place is to learn the history of as they were born and who are its greatest exponents, materials and colors used in the manufacture of these monsters animals (combinations of various animals) are very interesting since they come from natural origin , as is towards in pre-Hispanic times. It is impressive as they do these colors and more importantly that are families that continue with these beautiful traditions. Go forth and contribute to these small families who have the privilege of giving continuity to this beautiful custom.
