  • Rich craftsmanship, wide choice throughout the aisles loaded of all know how local... Too bad that tourism does them not better live... Soon in great demand by all, hard to choose...

  • A friend recommended this market as its a collective and all the items are made locally. They don't pressure you and it's not too busy so you can actually browse.
  • This colourful market is located in the center of Oaxaca, a few blocks from the zocalo. Here is found a great variety of products of the region, beautiful jewelry in silver and stones, embroidery, clothing, tablecloths, articles in brass painted, alebrijes, etc. to prices very suitable. It is a place that is certainly worth a visit!

  • This Mercado is beautiful! !!! Full of amazing handmade crafts ranging from exquisitely detailed carved wooden animals to hand stitched wall tapestries. Truly a gem and well worth visiting!
  • A little disappointing for a Mercado de Artesanías- not very many vendors. I think the street vendors sell better quality stuff!
  • This is a great market full of textiles, traditional arts and crafts and colourful as far as the eye can see. Well worth checking out for souvenirs for friends or yourself.
  • An OK market if you can't get to any of the weekly regional markets or to the nearby towns where the crafts are created.
  • Excellent hand bag prices.
