  • The 20 is an excellent choice for testing the Oaxacan cuisine; chocolate is delicious it comes with egg yolk bread, I recommend the entomatadas with tasajo, in the Hall of meat you can ask for room cesina, tasajo and sausages of oaxaca, with tortillas and a cold beer. It is certainly a must-see.

  • Already they have remodeled the market and it is now cleaner and better organized. Painted ceilings, arranged the floor, but the comings and goings of people in the region and tourists, remains. In this market is food, mezcal, textiles and other crafts typical of Oaxaca. It is a pass to the snows of Chaguita and take a water with Doña Casilda. You can not miss it!

  • We ate all our breakfasts in Doña Maria Teresa, wonderful family place in the market, hot chocolate, huevos revueltos, beans, tortillas. But above all, atmosphere, atmosphere! Dinner, you must try in what I call ' meat Hall "charcoal-grilled meat in different variations, grilled onions, accessories, beer. It is an experience so real, good. Köttkorg!!

  • You must head to the back and try the amazing meets and veggies! Don't miss the chapulines, squash blossom quesadillas, or the mole. Amazing atmosphere day or night!
  • A nice place for tourism. Here you can taste roasted meat. Also, inside market you can find food places where are the typical and traditional dishes.
  • One of the best places to visit in Oaxaca. Very recommended if you want to try the Oaxaca's gastronomy.
  • Has a lot to offer, many cool things and gifts! Try all the different kinds of food.
  • The market was out of sorts because a teachers strike had everything in the wrong street, but still, you can't beat the piles of fresh produce, wonderful smiling faces, and the variety of colors and smells of a mexican market.
