  • THE death of the great MORELOS "if I had a Morelos, conquered up to heaven." In thousand eight hundred fifteen, homeland suffered a sprain, day 22 of December in memory will sow. The death of the great Morelos which, delivered to their desires, he offered us his heart, which "servant of the nation". First, they excommunicated him, "their God they robbed it," the cruel, "Holy Inquisition", let "crooked a line". What is much feared, was accused of heresy, in public, gradient, felt very miserable. But it was true to its values, yield you thousand honors, after a summary trial, enemy, perpetrator. Calleja, rendered its judgment, with mischief and irreverence, Salazar, the Confessor, of la Concha, executor. Redoubling of drums, in Ecatepec, tremors, bandaged were his eyes, tears and withered thorns. They blew it at close range, kneeling, turning their backs on the platoon of soldiers with rifles, armed. Fierce downloads sounded, Bulletproof saturated it, shrapnel thundered horrible, face on stony ground. The death leaving, was present that inert body, the crucifix, clung, dyed, bleeding red. Sad was the wall, when will forgiveness come?, which I regret, tragedy and misery-filled souls! The nation, in the semi-darkness, her feelings, not illuminate, martyrdom of the insurgent, it shook the continent. I say, without being insane, this ordeal has been in vain?, where were plans of Morelos, their worries? Do campaigns, achievements, victories, ideals, beliefs, glories?, two hundred years of absence, what independence? Author: Lic. Gonzalo Ramos Aranda Mexico, D.
