Situated in the heart of Monterrey, Parque Fundidora offers visitors 140 hectares (345 acres) of recreation space. The park occupies the former site of the bankrupted Monterrey Foundry--several old foundry buildings, including the blast furnace and chimney, remain on the grounds. Jog, cycle, or skate around the park, have a picnic next to the artificial lake, or take the kids to the Sesame Street-themed park. Numerous pedestrian walkways allow you to take relaxing strolls, while the ice rink, sports arena, and the arts center provide entertainment. • If you are looking for a place to run this is the one. Also, it is connected with "Paseo Santa Lucia", you can catch the boat here. It has a museum and it is near to Arena Monterrey and Cintermex. Ins...  more »
  • This is a wonderful project to experience. The way this old site now ads value to the city and it was great to see children enjoying it. The boat ride was lovely but hot!  more »
  • This is one of the easiest, most accessible ways to escape the hustle and bustle of Monterrey. The park has something for everyone, including open space, water features and museums.  more »

  • Love this park! Would be even better if one could bring dogs. But I can understand why they don't want to, it's very clean and super nice! People here are a bit more careless when it comes to cleaning up after their dog. A park like this in Sweden would totally be open for dog owners. It all comes down to responsibility and knowledge. But a must visit if coming to Monterrey!
  • One of the best places to go with the family, however its usually too crowded. Ni toe rent a bike, walk with your SO, friends, there are different amenities. give it a try
  • Wear something light during summer and wear a hat, it is going to be hot. A great place to enjoy with the family, friends, etc. You can rent a bike and ride in their long paths.
  • Great green area that mixes perfect percents between green and asphalt, ideal for jogging, running, yoga, bicycle, skating and many other outdoor activities, as simple as hanging out with friends or having a slow romantic walk with your girl. The place has also an ice skate indoors park, bike rental, and several kiosks where you can buy drinks and snacks. A very important part of the Monterrey's industry history.
  • an excellent place to spend the day with family or friend, children and wife , with everyone in fact, i would just recommend that perhaps take extra measure to take care of the grass and dont let the people ruin it, since sometimes there are too much people there specially weekends of course, otherwise its a terrific place to be
