  • Chipinque is a park to visit if you like to enjoy a cool climate, beautiful landscapes, have contact with fauna of the Park as squirrels and definitely walk, although you can upload in auto, the best experience is to walk down the sidewalks, the challenge is to reach the plateau where there are slides, games and food area; It is a half day ride but you can also stay in the Hotel, I had the opportunity to stay at the and is very comfortable, restaurant has delicious food and best seen in the viewpoint throughout the city at night is beautiful, good choice for a weekend of tranquility, the only thing is that the pool water was cold and we were in June.

  • The Chipinque ecological park is a great space to practice the sport. Activities include walking, jogging, running, climbing many many stairs, riding a bicycle, while enjoying the incredible scenery of the Sierra Madre and the Cerro de la Silla. It is a place full of life. But don't forget to pick up your trash, as the site is where flora and fauna that we must respect and protect lives. Hotel Alpino Chipinque and its restaurant are also excellent options, if you decide to spend the night or eat in the highest part of this ecological park.

  • Fancy mountain. You can get lots of fun by doing sports or just driving up to La Meseta to have a pic nic
  • Beautiful views of the city. Different animals roaming around free. It's just wonderful. Perfect place for hiking and trail trekking.
  • Great hiking right next to the city. There are some amazing looking summit trails within the park as well, but make sure to get the permit beforehand, and start your ascent before 8am (I think that was the cutoff time, but check with the office to make sure). If you want to get a permit, knowing Spanish will help a lot, although the permit office ended up being helpful despite my lack of Spanish knowledge.
  • Great place for healthy outdoor activities like walk, run, bike and trek. If you want to be in contact with nature this is also an excellent place.
  • Great place to enjoy outdoors, fresh air, animals, cool bike routes, trekking, etc
