  • The Basilica is just a few minutes straight from the subway. There are the old church and the new Church (the same as Aparecida), but one is on the side of the other meters of difference between the two ports. The old church is collapsing on the ground to the left side (viewed from the front) and you feel it when you enter, it looks like it's falling. The new Church has masses of hourly during the day, and of course, there's ticket to see the image of the Virgin of Guadalupe to near. There is a religious goods store (small and tumultuous after the masses) that you can buy souvenirs (blesses them before departing). To use the bathroom of the Basilica, paid 5 pesos (1) as in almost any public place. It is worth participating in a mass and visit before the sunset to do photos!

  • A must see, especially on 12 December day of the anniversary of the apparition of the Virgin of Guadalupe on the Hill of tepeyac, see especially the beautiful setting where the apron of l Indian Juan Diego or printed the image of the Virgin, the Basilica by it even is a bit too modern for my taste
