  • We were invited to an event of a medical laboratory to a guided tour and then a dinner. Guided tour short but very nice, well explained and beautiful place. Beautiful experience! The poorly organized medical event, and the Vallet Parking made us wait for a long time out, in a place that feels insecure, and red light district, by the way.

  • A little gem totally ignored by most tourists visiting Mexico City. In a beautiful 18th-century building houses a small but formidable collection of drawings, paintings and sculptures of artists covering a period from the 14th to the 20th century. There are works by Parmigianino, Goya, Rubens, Hals, Cranach, Perugino, Potormo, Rodin and this just to mention the artists that I remember. Which were dedicated to him at least an hour. Open every day except Tuesday from 10 to 18, MXN 25 input.

  • Always interesting is the visit to this Museum, which has an excellent collection of painting and sculpture, and not be busy allows you to appreciate the art at your discretion under the temporary field. The building that is installed is a beautiful sample of the great architect Tolsa and sculptor that I bring good amount of works to the new Spain, personally I love the staircase. Enjoy the Museum of San Carlos. LIFE... is a trip!

  • There a few minutes I visited Francisco de Goya exposition, it was amazing. It'll be open till the last days of March
  • Amazing spot near Mexico City's historic downtown, few blocks from Alameda square. This museum (MUNSC) curates European art exhibits all year long, from Renaissance to Romantic and Neoclassical. It's an amazing palace built by the Buenavista Count. Architecture is astonishing.
  • The gothic area is immense and expectacular.
  • Pretty place. Clean and taken care of.
  • Beautiful museum with stunning permanent collection

Where to stay in Mexico City

Head straight to the trendy neighborhoods of Roma or La Condesa if you're looking for an artsy atmosphere--you can find design-conscious hostels and boutique hotels nestled among the many bars, restaurants, cafes, and galleries. For easy access to the city's most beautiful architecture, you can't beat staying in the historical center, although the neighborhood's UNESCO-listing means you'll only find smaller, old-fashioned options there. You can also indulge in a few luxury nights in the fancy Polanco district, or look for a more budget-friendly option in the popular Zona Rosa.
