  • Very beautiful facade with two towers octagonal Bell Tower whose domes are covered with tiles. To the center of the relief in marble of the Archangel Michael, emphasizes also the wooden gate with carved of two religious scenes, which requires restoration to not follow its deterioration. Inside a space of figures, prints and large assortment of religious articles. There are two chapels. Preserves the pulpit gold in excellent condition. On the altar is Jesus crucified and high chairs the Archangel who emanates golden rays. The altar looks neoclassical style with its columns and capitals. The roof in red tezontle which combines with the white walls and columns of quarry looks spectacular. There are several religious paintings of the 17TH and 18th centuries emphasizing "The betrothal of the Virgin" and San Juan Bautista. All the paintings have informative plate, worthy of applause in this church that seems to Museum. The detail that breaks the harmony aesthetic in the interior is a vinyl with prayer to San Miguel, but we must not forget that it is a temple in use and assume it with deep respect. Peace at the site is perceived in this area. This church was built in 1690 by Pedro de Arrieta. Enjoy this colonial legacy... life is a journey!
