  • I invite you to enjoy a pleasant morning; at the plaza as its surroundings you can enjoy a wide variety of clothes, food shops, crafts (galleries), jewelry, etc. For all the "pockets". I recommend you take your time to visit all the premises. In the single square there is a restaurant that offers food à la carte and buffet breakfast, this place is only open on Saturday.

  • This picturesque square surrounded by cobblestone streets, restaurants, cafes, bars and art spaces such as the Casa del Risco, seems to be locked in one of the so-called magic towns, but contrary to this in San Angel, city of Mexico. Some sources are part of your decor, you benches, trees and walkways invite you to enjoy the peaceful site, you forget that you are in the city. In the historical field is relevant, on this site it is where in 1847, during the US invasion were the first 16 executions of the brave "Heroes without homeland" members of the San Patricio battalion heroic decorated with "cross of honour of the" Angostura"for their actions in defense of the sovereignty of our country. Therefore in the same stands the monument in honor of illustrious Commander John Riley and on one side of the square there is a commemorative plaque of the San Patricio battalion, in which lists the names of 71 members of the battalion, 48 of whom were Irish and 13 alemane s and poles. Enjoy this Green, historical and cultural space located in the city of Mexico. LIFE... is a trip!

  • The area of San Angel is the most authentic of the DF. Well visit it on Saturday, with the mercado de Artesanías in the plaza San Jacinto. It is recommended to walk through the streets.

  • Very nice on Saturdays with all the painters exposing/selling their things. Some of them are pretty cool!
  • Nice place to chill out but on Saturday the art vendors take most of the benches leaving little opportunity for you to relax
  • You can find nice arts and crafts on Saturday. Need to visit Church of San Jacinto
  • Nice 👍
  • You can see the paintings for sale of local artists on the weekends.

Where to stay in Mexico City

Head straight to the trendy neighborhoods of Roma or La Condesa if you're looking for an artsy atmosphere--you can find design-conscious hostels and boutique hotels nestled among the many bars, restaurants, cafes, and galleries. For easy access to the city's most beautiful architecture, you can't beat staying in the historical center, although the neighborhood's UNESCO-listing means you'll only find smaller, old-fashioned options there. You can also indulge in a few luxury nights in the fancy Polanco district, or look for a more budget-friendly option in the popular Zona Rosa.
