  • I went back to XOCHIMILCO after more than 9 years, family, 6 people, excellent decision, go to this pier, very easy to reach, ample parking, very clean, service of the trajinera best, different prices, depending on the time of 1 to 4.5, can bring your food and drink either as in our case, buy everything there, at very fair prices and delicious food addressed chalupas good to go in a group, couple or family, good for all ages. It is much better option than Nativitas, new native and Bethlehem, here not to steal, it's easier to get in and out, you are more in touch with nature, and less trajineras traffic we had fun with a moderate investment (1700 pesos per 6 persons, travel 3 Hrs, food and refreshments)

  • For all those who think that the CDMX is only smog and concrete, I recommend you to visit Xochimilco or Cuemanco. Go holidays, or just to relax with friends or family, coming up through their channels carried aboard a trajinera, you need to live and "combeber" and complement with the local harvest either make all purchases there. On weekends the Cuemanco Jetty is more clear than Xochi, where traffic is heavy from the entrance of peripheral. In October and November, they make a representation of "La Llorona". Remember that it is a booking, please do not throw garbage channels (cigarette butts, disposable bags, cans, etc).

  • We arrived by mistake at this Jetty because we live outside the country in almost four years and I got lost looking for the Jetty of Nativitas. What big mistake!. Nothing to negotiate with the people from the trajineras, the hourly rate is fixed, point. You have known we had us everything you need for an evening with family, but as we get everything in place. The promenade and the landscapes are very cute, eat a few rich quesadillas prepared in another trajinera, great. Without a doubt, I'll be back with family and friends to repeat this walk. Note: do not pay by the fraud of the island of dolls.

Where to stay in Mexico City

Head straight to the trendy neighborhoods of Roma or La Condesa if you're looking for an artsy atmosphere--you can find design-conscious hostels and boutique hotels nestled among the many bars, restaurants, cafes, and galleries. For easy access to the city's most beautiful architecture, you can't beat staying in the historical center, although the neighborhood's UNESCO-listing means you'll only find smaller, old-fashioned options there. You can also indulge in a few luxury nights in the fancy Polanco district, or look for a more budget-friendly option in the popular Zona Rosa.
