Neighborhood
Explore the leafy streets of Polanco, one of the city's most upscale and exclusive neighborhoods. Notable because of its cultural diversity, the district has historically been a place where Spanish, Ashkenazi Jewish, and Lebanese immigrants settled. See evidence of these roots today in the varied set of eateries and shops, alongside department and flagship stores of some of the world's premier brands and chains. A construction boom in the 1950s brought the addition of impressive mansions and apartment blocks, displaying a striking neo-Colonial architectural style. Head to the neighborhood's many museums, galleries, and music venues, and browse the menus of the numerous restaurants before picking one to suit your mood. Add Polanco and other attractions to your Mexico City trip itinerary using our Mexico City travel itinerary planner.

  • One of the most safest places in Mexico DF wher you can find a lor of nice gourmet restaurants and also popular ones  more »
  • It is a colony of class average and high, with many shops and various restaurants. Unfortunately if it is complicated the traffic and with the reduction of lanes complicated also the Park and even walk. But it's nice to walk through its streets and tends to be quiet.

  • You can walk quietly by Lincoln Park (or "clock") Sunday or visit the Angela Peralta theater or great theatre Moliere lately, and visit hundreds of restaurants and shops in their places like Miyana, Moliere, the Soumaya Museum, which is free of charge and you can see huge number of sculptures or collections.
