Polanco, Mexico City

(4.3/5 based on 700+ reviews on the web)
Explore the leafy streets of Polanco, one of the city's most upscale and exclusive neighborhoods. Notable because of its cultural diversity, the district has historically been a place where Spanish, Ashkenazi Jewish, and Lebanese immigrants settled. See evidence of these roots today in the varied set of eateries and shops, alongside department and flagship stores of some of the world's premier brands and chains. A construction boom in the 1950s brought the addition of impressive mansions and apartment blocks, displaying a striking neo-Colonial architectural style. Head to the neighborhood's many museums, galleries, and music venues, and browse the menus of the numerous restaurants before picking one to suit your mood. Add Polanco and other attractions to your Mexico City trip itinerary using our Mexico City travel itinerary planner.

  • This is an area of the city where beautiful parks, great restaurants and luxury boutqies be harnessed, it is also possible to walk peacefully by some of their cammellones and avenues.

  • It is a beautiful area of Mexico City, is the place of dwelling and premises of high economic level. Anyway, it's very nice, there are plants of food at excellent prices, and the menus of the restaurants are posted on the doors of all along with their prices.

  • Nice neighborhood! Didn't notice danger of assault. Good bars. Bohemian. Many taquerias. In Mexico, is our hot dogs, too. The taxi is not expensive, around $10.00 and 20.00 for offset. The subway, there's no air conditioning. The railway network covers the city, but beware the subway! Stole my cell phone at the entrance to the car.
