  • This Park is well maintained and has a special area for dogs. Along the way you will find different banquitas to sit and rest a little.

  • Known as "Parque Hundido", whose official name is Parque Luis Gonzaga Urbina, is a unique place. According to Mexico.com.mx city, "history of the Parque Hundido goes back to the porfirian era if it on the grounds that once were closer Christmas Eve brick company, several species of trees, creating the forest of Christmas Eve were sown. Decades later, at the end of the year 30's after have been paved and widened the Insurgentes Avenue, the Government decided to take advantage of the beautiful site of the forest of Christmas Eve in a field with several levels due to the operation of brick factories in the area, to create a new Park, it was so that gardens, walkways and fountains were conditioned so that the inhabitants of the surrounding area to enjoy it , creating one of them rides classic of the area. Later, in 1972, settled in this park several reproductions of archaeological pieces distributed throughout six routes: Highlands, Mayan, Zapotec, Olmecs, totonac cultures and huastecas, parts through which we can appreciate the artistic mastery that prehistoric peoples reached. This beautiful park also has one of the urban landmarks of avenida Insurgentes, also the Floral clock, created in a prestigious House watch of Puebla, this clock is located at the end of a wide staircase surrounded by fountains and waterfalls that receive the name of Plaza Dolores del Río, in homage to one of the great divas of the national cinema. In another area of the Park is an audiorama, where surrounded by lush vegetation, you can hear classical music as well as poetry recitals." The Park, being about 10 meters below street level, contributes to give a feeling of being out of town. Believe me, for more than 20 years, I did exercise daily in that place. It's worth the time.
