  • The Milpa is the corn field. The exhibition is composed of pre-Hispanic pieces, folk art, photographs and video from various collections. Very informative.

  • The Museum is chiquito and his entry, very cheap (less than a dollar). On Sunday, free. So if visiting Coyoacan, and there is time to visit this place is an option because it has very beautiful craft objects. The bad thing is the Museology that is very simple, elemental even. The fairs that are usually mounted here (Tamale, chocolate, the prickly pear, etc.) are a good way to see and try out the various ways in which those products are prepared. That Yes: are not always the best or the cheapest. However, it is better to buy them here than go to some distant delegation and without knowing where they prepare them better. It is within walking distance of the center of Coyoacan.

  • In the heart of Coyoacan, you will find this small museum, which boasts a large room and two small. Sunday admission is free and has parking right in front. The exhibition in February 2017 was around maize, including General information, and a major exhibition that goes from artifacts, recorded agricultural cycles, music, superstition, samples, photographs and geography, all around this element. Seems to me pretty well armed, small yaunque, a disciplined tour will take an hour and leaves us with interesting lessons.

  • I respect it for what it is but wasn't very impressed. I love art so I can't rate it badly and they have an awesome bookstore, but I liked the store better. Tiny space. Quick walk through.
  • Lovely place, it's a good alternative if you want to get in touch with Mexican traditions. They held the Feria del Tamal a couple of times a year and it's simply delicious. It's very near Coyoacán centre.
  • It is a small museum that almost always have an interesting showcase of Mexican tradition. There are free activities and expositions. The buildings are beautiful. It is one place you must visit when you go to coyoacan downtown
  • Mégixo Maxico
  • Small but important museum that lets you peek at Mexico's cultural traditions and origins.
