  • The Museum is in Churubusco, surrounded by a park. It is easy to find parking on the street though there is one pay a couple of blocks. The cost of access to the Museum is 70 pesos and free for children, students and senior citizens. It contains a good combination: housed in a former convent you can enjoy the building, especially of its cuisine, staircases, gardens and some religious details inside. On the other hand, its permanent exhibitions include the war of independence, the U.S. intervention, including a scale model of the battle that lived in that area, the French intervention and the revolution. A proper sample of weapons of war, uniform, stows replicas of historical documents, photography, pictures, models, flags, lithographs, including all the explanations which seemed to me to be very educational and in particular makes it very entertaining to the children. We had a temporary exhibition about Huitzilopochco, Manor Aztec that was precisely on that site which also seemed very wise, since it opens up the prospect of different historical stages. Does not store snacks and has a room with books and souvenirs that was unattended. Overall, a good experience.

  • We were family, since they left my daughter a school work about this Museum, but we have encountered a pleasant surprise to be in charge of telling the story of the "conquest of Mexico" an actress who became very professional work and n "La Malinche" I took the time in a different and very nice way to learn. The Museum is very well taken care of, and in addition to learning is have a very nice time in their gardens.

  • It is the centre of Mexico's history right at the heart of one of the crucial battles of the 1847 Mexican-American War. I won't explain the Museum because the photos speak for themselves and in order for you to make the trip however you will find some of the locations of the great Mexican Golden Age of Cinema by taking a look to the entrance as the Conservative Headquarter in Miguel Zacarias "A Letter of Love" (1943) and the final scene of Buñuel's "Him" (1952) with Buñuel himself as friar in zig-zag motion. The place is perfectly preserved and it is one of the must-visit places of Mexico.
  • Interesting to learn about the US invasion of Mexico from the viewpoint of Mexico. As well as the two other US invasions, which I was not previously aware of, and the invasion by the French. The photo of African-American POWs taken prisoner during Pershing's pursuit of Pancho Villa were worth the trip.
  • I found out about Abraham Fitzpatrick , an ancester who joined Mexico in the injust invasion of 1947!! Excelent place
  • Very nice museum. Lots of history and feelings when you are inside and understand the culture!
  • Great venue to enjoy traditional Scottish bagpipe music played by Mexican musicians. Very interesting and spacious museum. Beautiful gardens and Church next to it with a lot of history.
