  • Yesterday I was with my boys, ages 14, 12 and 7. The place is very beautiful, the building with very nice original floor. The Guide, a young lady that we showed and told the history of cocoa and chocolate and utensiles that serve to preparations with a basis of chocolate, very friendly and competent. A morning to spend with children who are on holiday to meet different and approfondir a very interesting topic for children...

  • An experience that makes you remember good times, like my childhood and now that I come with my children, I have the opportunity to show them things with which I lived happy being just like them.

  • In a small building which still retains parts of its construction during the porfiriato, exhibits the history of this delicious seed and as it has evolved over time. Also since pre-Hispanic times was of great value, not only economic but also nutritional and even medicinal. If can agenden a tasting, so you enjoy even more. Because its rooms are small, I recommend you go early to avoid crowds and then take a chocolate in your chocolate, you won't regret

  • MUCHO is a must visit if you go to Mexico City. Chocolate is one of the 5 great gifts from Mexico to the world (tomatoes, corn, chile peppers and vanilla are the others). Most citizens of Mexico City do not even know this place exists! The museum itself is small with 6 rooms of exhibitions that include information on the history, manufacturing methods - ancient and new, production and consumption statistics, smelling stations, as well as photos and products. The tour is in Spanish but some of the exhibits have English translations. The lower level is a Choclateria (Chocolate shop) that features drinks and chocolates of various types, but you do not need to pay to go to the shop. The museum entry fee is 70 pesos (as of Feb 2016) and be very careful with parking in the area, you must pay at one of the payment meters everyday except Sunday.
  • I only visited the chocolate store, they have plenty options and some of them are strange like with chili or insects inside.
  • Incredible place. Can't believe the amount of chocolate they have. A "must" on visits to capital city.
  • Loved the museum, the chocolate and the overall learning experience. It is a must to bring friends and enjoy local flavors. The Chipotle chocolate is spicyyyyy!
  • Best hot chocolate in toen
