  • I walked onto level 2 at the Jumex Museum. There were blinking lights on one screen, and an image of a clock on another. A woman was playing some piano to accompany these two images. That was all the ...  more »
  • A modern building architecture is an impressive monolith perfect to present international exhibitions

  • It is worth the low cost offering for visiting exhibitions has. I have had to see several in a row sometimes give up juice. The Museum is tidy and clean. It is organized in its processes and if you want the option of 'fast pass' you can buy it online. The location is very central since it is next to the Soumaya Museum and on the back of Antara Polanco.

  • A fine art museum. I've gone to see the natural order of things and the warhol exhibits and both were pretty good. I sort of prefer the other art museums in the city, particularly the contemporary art museum. So maybe pass if you have an art quota on your vacation.
  • I love the Jumex museum because of the all the great exhibitions they hold here and that change frequently so you're never bored with what they have on display. I visited recently during the Andy Warhol special but you were not allowed to take any photographs of his works. Other than that the building is beautiful and kept in excellent conditions, it resembles the shape of a traditional factory with the jagged edges on the rooftop.
  • I went to see the building. It was worth it. Note that they don't allow food or drinks, even if you're about to store your bag in the lockers downstairs. And the no photo policy is strict: you'll get reprimanded if you even pull your phone out of your pocket. Don't miss the outdoor balcony on one of the middle floors.
  • Excelent service! They bring you umbrellas and Jumex juices while in rhe line
  • Very interesting museum but doing temporary exhibitions all the time so I guess it could depend... But our exhibition was very refreshing nice. the space is nice. It's just a bit complicated to get there without a taxi or walking 20 mins from the metro.

Where to stay in Mexico City

Head straight to the trendy neighborhoods of Roma or La Condesa if you're looking for an artsy atmosphere--you can find design-conscious hostels and boutique hotels nestled among the many bars, restaurants, cafes, and galleries. For easy access to the city's most beautiful architecture, you can't beat staying in the historical center, although the neighborhood's UNESCO-listing means you'll only find smaller, old-fashioned options there. You can also indulge in a few luxury nights in the fancy Polanco district, or look for a more budget-friendly option in the popular Zona Rosa.
