  • Amazing collection of pre- Hispanic art! The Architecture of f museum is nice and reminds us of a pyramid. That was the idea from Diego. Only complaint is the light: either to dark or to much light that reflecting! Don’t forget to look at the sealing, one can see awesome mosaic from Diego himself! Certainly a must do!
  • Another must see when in Mexico City. If you are interested in learning about the history of the country and some of its contributors then definitely visit Museo Anahuacalli. The view from the roof top is refreshing. Built from volcanic rocks each space was carefully designed. Just beautiful.
  • This extraordinary museum was built by Diego Rivera out of volcanic rock and resembles a pyramid. The collection is enormous and varied. It's less known than other museums, but definitely must not be missed. It was Frida Kahlo and Diego Rivera's desire to have their ashes interred here forever, a wish that has not yet been fulfilled.
  • Diego Rivera's collection of Aztec art and artifacts. There are amazing murals and paintings, and tools and things. This place is really special. It is made of this black stone and sits on a vista with sweeping views of the mountains around CDMX.
  • Great place to learn more about Mexico and the Mexican culture. What a vision from Diego to build a museum like this in a remote place of cdmx. It's the biggest private art collection in the country and the visitation has layered moments of learning, sadness, happiness, surprise and more. A must go.
