  • I think that the most interesting part of the Museum is the only sculpture in the Central basin of the Valley of Mexico of the Preclassic Superior, not characterized by their size, beauty and style, however from the archaeological aspect is of relevant importance. I recommend to visit prior to the archaeological museum, you not take more than fifteen minutes to traverse it, but learning is interesting with respect to culture, economical, diarrhea and worldview of the inhabitants of this mysterious ceremonial center of form circular, the oldest in Mesoamerica since it dates back to before our era. I was interested in the characteristics of the practiced cranial deformation. The entrance is free and is open Monday to Sunday! Enjoy the Cucuilco archaeological museum. LIFE... is a trip!

  • It is pretty cool and interesting to learn about the history of this place, from the construction of the circular pyramid of cuicuilco and the life of its inhabitants, until the eruption of the volcano that covered it almost halfway

Where to stay in Mexico City

Head straight to the trendy neighborhoods of Roma or La Condesa if you're looking for an artsy atmosphere--you can find design-conscious hostels and boutique hotels nestled among the many bars, restaurants, cafes, and galleries. For easy access to the city's most beautiful architecture, you can't beat staying in the historical center, although the neighborhood's UNESCO-listing means you'll only find smaller, old-fashioned options there. You can also indulge in a few luxury nights in the fancy Polanco district, or look for a more budget-friendly option in the popular Zona Rosa.
