  • The Museum is located just behind the old Basilica of the Virgin of Guadalupe, with which it shares a wall, and has many works of recognized artists. The cost to enter is purely symbolic and is free if you have student ID or your older card. It is a visit that I recommend, whether or not believers. P.S. don't let you take photos.

  • This museum is located in the village, the entrance ticket is minimal... If you go to the Basilica of Guadalupe, but you can take advantage of and enter to admire sacred art, among other things... The only detail is that not you allow taking photos, beware that, in each section there are people watching all the time... They have super beautiful things that these very tempted to take a picture and it is a shame not to do so... It goes without saying that they do not allow the entrance with food. I recommend to go early, during the week... There will be fewer people... And never on Monday... It is the day that all Museum is closed... Luck!

  • Outside architecture is beautiful, most of the ancient basilica. Inside a delight, the visual detail, a journey that is worthwhile.

  • It has a wide collection of colonial painting and features several works by Cristóbal de Villalpando and Miguel Cabrera are considered the two best painters novohispanos. If you like paint and escultuta is worth entering. It may be that the children get bored soon.
