  • This building, rescued from the earthquake of 1985, has today a very interesting Museum of Popular art. In its several floors we do a tour of the Mexican folk art to know him better. It has the same traditional pieces that others that are true masterpieces. At the end of the tour you can visit the shop and buy some works to well complete the visit.

  • Popular Art Musem it's located one bolck from Alameda Central right across from "Metropolitan" venue, it's easily spoted as the entance is guarded by two giant, colorful alebrijes. The museum has permanent exhibits that will take your breath away. The toured guides are extraordinary and help visitors focus on the details of each piece. Make sure to allow yourself a couple of hours to visit this museum. Tip: There are several lunch options around the corner.
  • This is a deserved rating for this museum. A fantastic cross section of Mexican culture and art on display across numerous floors. That said, it's not that big and a couple of hours would be enough to be there. Colouful and sublimely intricate would some it up in 2 words...
  • Amazing museum showcasing the rich, folkloric crafts and traditions of this beautiful country, Mexico. Prepare to be blown away by the creativity of these people. Nice gift shop as well!
  • Great stuff inside and out. Loved the creature parade on the top balcony.
