  • I went with my two kids (7 & 9) after passing the museum several times and peeking at the colorful creatures through the windows. The museum was bright and the exhibits cleverly displayed. Even my kids, who are NOT museum people, were calling me over to point out their favorite skeletons and scary masks and wanted pictures with them. I enjoyed the display of traditional clothing. If you are with young children and a big museum is overwhelming, but you crave a little culture, this could do the trick. We probably spent 45 minutes there going pretty fast and skipping a floor. (PS "La Gloria" right across the street has a good breakfast!)
  • Discovered this museum walking to another museum. Cost a couple of USD to enter. Very fun and interesting. Very well planned out. The gift shop is very tempting but I recommend using your discretion. There were some things we saw later that were cheaper but not by crazy amounts and you are supporting a museum.
  • Great place, with many exhibits and a wide range of media. Students and teachers enter for free
  • This museum is absolutely amazing! You won't learn much about history but you will see vibrant colors, shapes, and things that only peyote smokers have the imagination to conjure up. Highly recommend just for sheer visual pleasure.
  • What a fun and eclectic museum, my favourite is Mexico City! Don't miss it
