  • Great Mexican popular Art museum, most enjoyable and highly recommended. Adults over 60 pay no entrance fee  more »
  • The Museum is very digestible and easy to navigate, with beautiful objects of Mexican folk art and its artisans. It is accessible for all tastes and ages, also because of its location it can go pass easily. The souvenir shop is very expensive, since we left happy after seeing the collection, but many of the objects that are sold there are up to 10 times above the price that can perhaps be found in other parts of the Republic

  • The way they organized the rooms is great. Some folk art is more interesting than other. There's a room at the end with more modern folk art which I really liked. Sunday's there's free entry. Worth visiting then. It's not too crowded either.
  • Beautiful and high quality exhibition about the amazing amount of crafts that are to be found all over Mexico. Even if you have never shown any interest in craft, this museum shows you a fascinating overview of skills, objects, movies, colors, textures of the various areas in Mexico that have produced - and in many cases are still producing - craft products. The museum itself is large, in a beautiful building and has all facilities. Texts are in Spanish and English.
  • What a cool neo-pop-art experience, mixed with good historical art from various states of Mexico. Not a lot of people there when we went in, so easy to loiter and soak in all that is of interest. Looks like they have temporary installations, so I’d expect some things would be different next time I go through. Find the time to visit, and save a little time at the end for a visit to gift shop. If you ask, they may offer a discount.
  • Worth checking to see if they have an exhibit. It's a beautiful compound. The day I visited they had an extensive exhibit of nativity scenes that seem to have been contributed by maybe 100 pueblos in Mexico, and an exhibit of historic political cartoons.
  • Absolutely my favorite museum, in a city of fantastic museums. Almost every piece in the collection is amazing. The gift shop is quite good, too.
