  • Great place to visit, but it was exceptionally crowded on Sunday. Lot's of things to see, eat and do, but loaded with people on this day.  more »
  • Eat local food, watch the people, see how they behave how they dress, and practice your Spanish. It is definitely a must see.  more »
  • This market is a wet market for locals. It is mainly fruit, vegetables and meat. It does not cater to tourists. There are a few good little food kiosks. Great photo ops but can get crowded with shoppe...  more »

  • Good for fruit but if you're a tourist you can skip this. Was under the impression that there would be more handicrafts but it's more of a food market. The shopping they have is things you can get mostly everywhere. Had a lot of kids toys so you're in luck if you're looking for that it want to buy fruit or eat something. I could have done without visiting this place.
  • Muchas cosas que hacer, muy enriquecido
  • Awesome local treats at great prices. An authentic experience! You can get incense, mole, tacos, and tortilla presses,,,, even shirts and Chile mango... anything!
  • A tourist market. Prices are above average but food and souvenirs are good. Best places to eat: El Jardín del pulpo (seafood) and El Cocoyote (meat tacos).
  • A bustling yet pleasant square and surrounding neighborhood. Boutiques, Bars, Restaurants. Many above average to excellent, and all boasting local prices. It's the real deal, packed with local people and street musicians, and all with a touristic level of safety.
