  • That I had not imagined to find a beautiful city center of a metropolitan city. I wandered around in the area of the historical centre and also in a few side streets. Anywhere nice restaurants and shops at a fair price. I had taken only cash for security reasons, but have had no problems. The police was present everywhere.

  • I think that it is a very good place for a walk, however there were many spots to eat, are counted, but the view is excellent for souvenir photos.

Where to stay in Mexico City

Head straight to the trendy neighborhoods of Roma or La Condesa if you're looking for an artsy atmosphere--you can find design-conscious hostels and boutique hotels nestled among the many bars, restaurants, cafes, and galleries. For easy access to the city's most beautiful architecture, you can't beat staying in the historical center, although the neighborhood's UNESCO-listing means you'll only find smaller, old-fashioned options there. You can also indulge in a few luxury nights in the fancy Polanco district, or look for a more budget-friendly option in the popular Zona Rosa.
