  • Univesitario Stadium has always liked me, family coexistence and also because it is a safe place to invite the children. Since the buy the shirt, to the "temporary tattoos" in their cheeks. Since childhood my son enjoyed witnessing a game of soccer, the party that exists. The first time I took precautions and took it to him and his friend to the area of shade against the boxes of managers under the caldron, Olympic, although that area is assigned to the "Rebel", we have batons and the batucada environment. Other dates also witnessing to the free zone and in the Sun under the boxes of managers, since there comes out to greet the famous botargo "Goyo", mascot of the PUMAS de la UNAM. The atmosphere is super when I go with friends. Tips: Take precautions, because we have struggled with the signal from cell phones, and for those occasions in which we see ourselves... it has been a problem. It's not to carry packages, because they do not let you pass, and outside for 30 pesos you look after your things. There is almost everything to consume: Greaves and potatoes, soft drinks, beer, pizza, chile pork skins, ice or popsicles. From small they cultivated the love of the shirt. Today these children grew, they are university graduates from school 1 and 6. Goyaaaaa!

  • I went for a Pumas match Sunday afternoon: great atmosphere throughout the stadium, good visibility and the games. A very good experience! (Attention the Sun hit a little at this time and it is not possible to return for a match with a lighter or a belt!)

  • The stadium is located within the campus, is the second as capacity in Mexico, opened in 1952 worth a visit for those in search of works by Diego Rivera present in Mexico City. On the eastern side, in fact you can see the great composition "the University family and sports in Mexico". Extraordinary in its realization with colored stones.

  • Classical hat shaped stadium. Beautiful architecture mutually decorated hosts soccer games mainly. Cheering youthful environment makes vivid games even better. Go Cougars!
  • Large stadium with good views no matter where you sit. Most of the games are at noon on Sundays.
  • Beautiful Stadium and architecture!
  • Historic stadium built for the Olympic games in '68 but now is the home of Pumas a very popular team among students, graduates, teachers and staff of this University.
  • Tremendously appealing bowl-shaped stadium that was the home for the 1968 Olympics and the 1982 World Cup. Timeless style makes it seem modern today.

Where to stay in Mexico City

Head straight to the trendy neighborhoods of Roma or La Condesa if you're looking for an artsy atmosphere--you can find design-conscious hostels and boutique hotels nestled among the many bars, restaurants, cafes, and galleries. For easy access to the city's most beautiful architecture, you can't beat staying in the historical center, although the neighborhood's UNESCO-listing means you'll only find smaller, old-fashioned options there. You can also indulge in a few luxury nights in the fancy Polanco district, or look for a more budget-friendly option in the popular Zona Rosa.
